Laurel joined Envision in 2022 and is very intentionally in the early learning space as our Sr. Early Learning Project Manager. She enjoys sharing brain-building essentials with community partners throughout Utah, as well as promoting and empowering the beauty and importance of the caregiver/child relationship and nurturing interactions using early learning principles. Her knowledge hails from wisdom gained working for the State of Utah Juvenile Court, VA Healthcare System, and Canyons School District. She also has vast experience with other local nonprofits where she worked with and advocated for postpartum parents in various roles.

A deep thinker and curiosity seeker, Laurel is an applied sociologist, finding root causes and solutions to barriers facing families and our youngest Utahns. She believes in the collective nature of solid networking and relationship building, and she holds a degree in Sociology from Westminster University where she currently sits on one of their boards. She enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling, and home improvement projects alongside her family. She believes it is our collective honor to assist our youngest population by nurturing, empowering, and talking/reading with them so the foundation of their lives is strong and secure, helping generations to come.
